Committees for 2010

Worship

This committee, (plus the pastor), has the responsibility to plan our regular Sunday worship services as well as special worship events for our congregation.

Christian Education

This committee takes leadership for the Sunday School, the library, planning special educational events, and making resources available for personal devotions.

Facility Operation

This committee ensures that the building functions to serve the congregation's needs and goals.

Outreach

This committee keeps the congregation aware of, and involved in, the global outreach of the larger church, as well as plan and encourage local outreach programs.

Social

This committee plans social events to provide opportunity for informal interaction among congregational members.

Christmas dinner, 2000

Ten Thousand Villages

This committee will oversee the Ten Thousand Villages Festival Sales in Atlantic Canada.

Finance

This committee will oversee the financial operation of the congregation..

Agape Fund Committee

This committee will oversee the agape funds. (Pastor, treasurer plus one finance committee member

Coordinating Council

This 5 person committee coordinates the work of the various committees ensuring; that yearly plans are made and regularly evaluated; that committee positions are filled.
